This project is born from the fusion of two opposing impulses: a fascination with the physical aftermath of nuclear disasters —those mutations that distort and transform the body— and the pleasure of drawing beautiful, symmetrical, almost perfect figures. From that tension emerges the desire to create unique bodies.

The research is driven by a search for the extraordinary: beings that slip away from the ordinary and dwell on the edge between the real and the imagined. Oral stories from family and friends feed this universe, where altered, hybrid, and hauntingly beautiful creatures begin to surface.

Through illustration, these possible bodies take shape —strange and captivating— as a tribute to the body’s infinite capacity to mutate, dream, and reinvent itself.
