The beginning of my artistic work came from a simple pleasure, drawing with graphite and charcoal. Through these materials, I discovered a way of observing and enjoying the act of drawing forms—especially the human body—until reaching a point of recognition and assimilation of the familiar.
From there, a desire emerged to explore new techniques ones that felt unfamiliar to both my hands and my imagination. That’s how I arrived at ink, a medium that gave me the freedom and precision I had been searching for, allowing me to bring to life new forms, worlds, and bodies that move away from the conventional.
